while i think you have excellent insight in many ways, I actually disagree with some of the ways you characterize an alpha females. I felt that the following things are inaccurate about alpha FEMALES, but very accurate about alpha MALES:

-”Alpha females like to feel as though they are the ones in control, so be sure to let her run the show or at least let her think she is running the show.”
-”Speak to her about things before you do them, and ask her opinion often. Never assume that there is a task a dominant woman cannot do. If you need help, ask her first. Letting her feel as though she has a say in everything will keep her happy and will keep your relationship strong. ”

personally, I feel that truly strong women don’t need to be like men. I know that I find alpha type guys to be irrestistably hot, but only because they complement my personality well. it’s definitely NOT about competition.

I think the biggest difference between powerful men and powerful women comes down to this:
A powerful men obtains power through exerting his influence on others. A powerful woman, conversely, is far more powerful by exerting control over HERSELF, and not allowing the situation or the people in any given situation to influence her. this is more of an art than a science, and both types of power can be used for moral or amoral purposes.

But the takeaway here that I believe there is a misunderstanding-or maybe it’s a discomfort-about what makes a strong woman powerful. it’s not just “these days” either- it’s always been this way and it probably will persist for a long time.
-Strong women understand the potency of their feminine softness in combination with level-headed rationale when they need to.
-She does not have to be “in control”-she leverages the fact that men hate being caged, and are more likely to come her way if she’s NOT controlling. Think of every controlling woman you’ve ever known-did you respect her? is she an “alpha” in your eyes, or is her position weakened bc she’s affected by other people’s behavior if they don’t do what she wants them to?
-She uses silence to convey her disapproval, NOT nagging.
-women who are truly “alphas” LONG for an alpha male. you won’t clash with her. strong women KNOW they’re strong with or without a man, so they naturally attract men who are confident enough to not need the ego boost from being “everything” to their woman.
